The editorial charged that the present ruling forces of south Korea cry out for "alliance" with the U.S. and "cooperation" with Japan, running contrary to the mindset of the candlelight holders and acting as a servant of the Trump administration.

It called on the south Koreans to guard against the outrageous acts of the U.S. ruling forces, seeing through the nature of imperialism which keeps the Korean nation bisected into the north and the south to draw water to its mill.
