A political statement was adopted at the meeting, which said:

The U.S. is suffering from a big nightmare as the whole U.S. mainland is within striking range of the DPRK's ICBM Hwasong-14.

The U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK is bound to go bankrupt though the former has resorted to unheard-of political isolation, economic blockade and military pressure while brandishing nuclear stick.

It is too natural that the U.S. persistent hostile policy toward the DPRK would further endanger the security of the U.S. mainland and the U.S. would meet an end on this planet.

All the measures taken by the DPRK are the legitimate ones for self-defense of a sovereign state to defend its sovereignty and rights to existence and development.

Nevertheless, the U.S. let the United Nations cook up the "sanctions resolutions", pushing the situation of the Korean peninsula to the brink of war.

The U.S. should be wholly responsible for all the consequences to be entailed by the illegal "sanctions resolution" aimed at totally blocking the economic development and the improvement of people's living standard of a sovereign state.

It should roll back its anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK and recognize the strategic position of socialist Korea.

We fully support the DPRK's steps for self-defense and will always stand by the side of the Korean people.
