DPRK Will Continue to Implement Line of Simultaneously Developing Two Fronts
Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- As reported, on Sunday the U.S. cooked up the "sanctions resolution" 2371 of the UN Security Council aimed to block the economic development and improvement of people's living standard in the DPRK, describing its ICBM test-fire as "threat to global peace and security". Meanwhile, the neighboring big countries devoid of subjective principle raised their hands fearful of the U.S. arbitrary practices, without caring for elementary faith and the face as big powers.

The "sanctions resolution" is a product of the wicked moves of the U.S. to isolate and stifle the DPRK, and it is a wanton violation of the DPRK's sovereignty and an open challenge to it, Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in an editorial.

The editorial goes on:

The DPRK has been under the harshest sanctions for decades, due to a series of UN "sanctions resolutions" cooked up by the U.S. That's why the present situation is nothing new and the army and people of the DPRK do not care about it even a bit.

Today the DPRK has become the Juche nuclear power, a world's military power possessed of A-bomb, H-bomb and the strongest ICBM.

The main purpose of the provocative "sanctions resolution" cooked up by the U.S. and other riff-raff is to force the DPRK to give up the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts and neutralize its powerful nuclear deterrence.

The DPRK has gained everything it could do through arduous struggle under the unprecedented and persistent obstructive moves of the imperialists, which would have brought others down more than a hundred times. So, it will be a daydream to think that the DPRK may shake or change its attitude before the new sanctions.

The army and people of the DPRK will continue to march to the last along the road chosen by themselves, with the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts, the eternal banner for guaranteeing peace.
