Kim Yong Nam Meets Iranian President
Tehran, August 6 (KCNA-Correspondent) -- Talks were held between Kim Yong Nam, president of the DPRK Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly on a visit to Iran, and Hassan Rouhani, president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Sunday.

Kim Yong Nam referred to the fact that the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts set out by the Workers' Party of Korea is being implemented to the letter under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and the achievements gained in the struggle for independence, Songun and socialism under the banner of self-development-first principle.

He stressed the need to further develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Iran and the Non-Aligned Movement.

Hassan Rouhani said the Iran-DPRK relations have developed on a very high stage, expressing the belief that the friendly relations between the two countries which have jointly struggled against the U.S. will boost in broad fields in the future, too.

Earlier, Kim Yong Nam respectively met Speaker of Majlis Ali Larijani and First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri of Iran.
