Scrapping of "Agreement" on Sexual Slavery Demanded
Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- The "agreement" on sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army should be unconditionally scrapped at once in the light of its illegality and the unanimous demand of all Koreans for thorough settlement of Japan's unheard-of past crimes, Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a commentary.

What matters is whether the south Korean authorities have the will to scrap the humiliating "agreement" with Japan or not, the commentary notes, and goes on:

These days they are revealing their scheme to realize cooperation for pressurizing the DPRK in collusion with Japan, talking about "forward-looking ties".

What is difference between such scheme and the treachery of traitor Park Geun Hye who sold off the interests of the nation through sycophantic and treacherous policy and confrontation with the compatriots?

The people's struggle for repeal of the "agreement" is still going on in south Korea. If the south Korean authorities truly have the will to remove the evils, they should pay heed to the strong demand of the public.

They should make a bold decision to scrap the "agreement" on the sexual slavery as early as possible, once they started investigation into the crimes.
