Remembrance Meeting of Workers and Trade Union Members
Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting of workers and trade union members took place in the compound of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum on Wednesday in the run-up to the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present at the meeting were officials concerned, trade union officials, those who had the honor of being received by the President and leader Kim Jong Il and persons related to their revolutionary activities and other workers and trade union members.

Kang Chung Sil, chairwoman of the primary party committee of the Songyo Knitwear Factory, referred to the great personality of the President who trained an unknown spinner as a hero of the era and party official.

Han Jong Gum, an official of Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill, told about the fatherly love shown by the great leaders for her mother Kil Hwak Sil, a pioneer in the movement for human remolding.

Kang Chol Ho, chairman of the trade union committee of the Chollima Steel Complex, said that his father Kang Ryong Ha, a smelter, became the first labor hero of the complex and a well known Chollima rider under the care of the President, touching the participants.

Choe Yong Song, chief instructor of the Moranbong District Party Committee, told about the loving care shown by the great leaders for his grandfather Choe Jae Ha, who was the first minister for construction of worker origin.

Songs "Our Leader" and "Sing, Fork to Mangyongdae" resounded forth at the meeting, deepening its participants' yearning for the President.
