S. Korean Paper Demands Halt to Joint Military Maneuvers

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The south Korean online paper Minjok Ilbo in an editorial on March 19 urged the U.S. imperialists and south Korean warmongers to stop the nuclear war drills at once.

The editorial accused them of openly staging nuclear war maneuvers after discarding the signboard of "annual" and "defensive".

It demanded the U.S. and south Korean authorities stop Key Resolve at once as it brings the danger of a nuclear war.

What is needed for peace on the Korean peninsula is pullout of the U.S. forces and conclusion of DPRK-U.S. peace accord, not deployment of THAAD and war games, it said.
