DPRK Embassy in Moscow Hosts Reception
Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- The DPRK Embassy in Moscow gave a reception on Feb. 15 to observe the 75th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

Present there on invitation were Taysaev, chief of the Russia-Korea Friendship Parliamentary Group of the State Duma of Russia and secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Sazhi Umalatova, chairperson of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, Konstantin Pulikovski, former presidential envoy to the Far East Region, and other personages of the government, political parties, organizations and institutions and artistes of the Academy Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

DPRK Ambassador Kim Hyong Jun and his embassy officials were present.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il standing together before paying tribute to them.

They looked round the photos of the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu and other photos introducing the proud reality in the DPRK.

Speeches were made there.

Speakers paid the highest tribute to Kim Jong Il who made great contributions to the building of a socialist power, human cause of independence and development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations.

A performance was given by the Russian artistes.

Meanwhile, a reception was given by the DPRK mission in Khabarovsk that day.
