Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed at the Maritime Territorial branch of the All-Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity" of Russia on Jan. 30. Donets, chairman of the branch, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on his birth anniversary. |
