Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Uganda

| Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- A Ugandan national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed at the building of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement on Jan. 30. Henri Masico, general political commissar of the Uganda People's Defense Forces and director general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events including seminar, lecture and photo exhibition on the anniversary. |
