This is the bitter lesson taught by the distress-torn history of the inter-Korean relations.

We will readily join hands with anyone who prioritizes the fundamental interests of the nation and is desirous of improving the inter-Korean relations.

Dependence on outside forces can never help settle the issue of the country's reunification. Outside forces never wish to see the Korean nation get reunified as one and grow strong. This is the bitter lesson shown by the long history of national division.
