Intangible Heritages Newly Registered in DPRK
Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- 13 objects were newly registered as national and local intangible heritages of the DPRK.

In this regard, Om Won Ho, a head of office of the National Authority for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, told KCNA:

Cultural heritages created by our ancestors are regarded as national treasures, thanks to the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on preserving the nation's cultural heritage.

The newly-registered national intangible heritages are the folk tale about Uljimundok, legend about the Altair and the Vega, silkworm culture, papermaking technology of Koryo Kingdom (918-1392), fruit punch, terrapin dish, sweet rice, Sinsollo (dish in cooking brazier), tangogi soup of North and South Hamgyong provinces and starch noodle of Hamhung in South Hamgyong Province.

And "Song of Walls in Mt. Jongbang", sweating in stone-bathroom and psammotherapy were registered as local intangible heritages.
