Rodong Sinmun Warns U.S. Not to Make Haste for THAAD Deployment in S. Korea
Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- Russel, assistant secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs of the U.S., blustered that the U.S.-south Korea alliance remains solid and the plan for the deployment of THAAD would be invariably pressed forward under whatever political situation in south Korea.

Brooks, commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea, said THAAD would be deployed in south Korea in 8 to10 months much earlier than late next year, the original schedule, and its scope would be bigger than what is deployed on Guam.

Rodong Sinmun Saturday says in a commentary that what they uttered goes to prove that the U.S. is in a hurry to complete the deployment of THAAD in south Korea at any cost before the collapse of the Park Geun Hye regime which it installed with so much effort.

The despicable moves of the U.S. once again clearly reveal before the world who is the arch criminal and the worst evil harassing peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia and sparking off an arms race among nuclear weapons states and bringing the danger of a nuclear war, it notes, and goes on:

Nothing is more foolish than trying to ward off the DPRK's strike of justice with THAAD.

The DPRK has powerful strike means capable of promptly disabling THAAD by making a surprise strike from an unpredictable place.

Its revolutionary armed forces have long put not only all the aggressive war means of the enemies but even their attack and logistic bases against the DPRK in the range of precision sighting strike.

The DPRK will never remain a passive onlooker to the U.S. desperate moves to bring the disaster of a nuclear war to the Korean peninsula.
