Russian Expert on Denuclearization on Korean Peninsula
Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- A senior researcher at the Center for Korean Studies of the Institute for the Far East under the Russian Academy of Sciences referred to the issue of denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, when interviewed by internet news Pravda. Ru on Oct. 31.

Recalling that denuclearization of the Korean peninsula had once been tabled at the six-party talks, he went on:

Nuclear submarines, carriers and bombers are maneuvering in south Korea. The U.S. could have built a missile defense system in south Korea, regardless of whether the DPRK had access to nukes or not.

Not only Russia but also China understand the reason why the DPRK had access to nukes and well know that the U.S. is about to deploy interceptor missile system to contain Russia and China.

The DPRK clarified that it would not use the nukes first unless it is invaded but the theory of preemptive nuclear strike at the DPRK and Russia still exists in the U.S.

Russia and China should demand the U.S. retract the plan of preemptive nuclear strike.
