Present there were teachers, researchers, technicians and field officials of Kim Il Sung University, Phyongsong University of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, the Stockbreeding Management Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Institute of Animal Husbandry, the Veterinary Institute and the Poultry Engineering of the Academy of Agricultural Science, the Pyongyang Poultry Production Bureau and other units.

Presented there were at least 120 papers.

Drawing attention of the participants were achievements substantially conducive to securing good domestic animal breed, ensuring sufficient feed, making scientific raising and tending and taking thoroughgoing veterinary and anti-epidemic measures.
