On display there are more than 1,300 application programs for Korean-style operating systems.

It is divided into professional and amateur groups. It involves 15 panels including information security, artificial intelligence and Korean language information processing, equipment and production process control and information communication.

The exhibition will also involve contests in different fields including computer-aided integrated production system and programs for analyzing mock sports games.

Present at the ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and program developers.
