Building Materials Production Goes up in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- Building-materials factories in the DPRK are steadily increasing their production to render assistance to the flood-hit northern areas of North Hamgyong Province.

The Sunchon Cement Complex has turned out several thousand tons of cement every day in October through a campaign for increased production. In September it over-fulfilled its cement production plan by 13 percent.

The Chonnaeri Cement Factory produced 2 000 more tons of cement than schedule.

The Taean Friendship Glass Factory, too, has supplied much quality sheet glass to the disaster areas.
