Displayed at the venue of the exhibition were fine art pieces dealing with the exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for party building.

Present at the ceremony were Kim Ki Nam, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of ministries and national institutions, creators in the field of fine art and working people in Pyongyang.
