Penguin Aviary at Central Zoo in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- An increasing number of people are now visiting the rebuilt Central Zoo in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.

What catches visitors' eyes in the zoo is the penguin aviary covering an area of 420 square meters.

The aviary consists of areas for polar and subtropical environments.

In the aviary, visitors can see two pairs of Humboldt penguins presented by a Russian personage to Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

This species of penguin, 45-50 cm in stature and 4.5 kg in weight, live on the seashore of Peru and Chile.

Pak Kwang Su, head of a work-team at the zoo, said that they are planning to show penguins' feats to visitors.
