S. Korean Religious Bodies Oppose Deployment of THAAD

Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- Religionist organizations in Taejon area of south Korea on Sept. 29 declared that they would opt for a joint action against the U.S. THAAD deployment for aggression, according to the south Korean newspaper Tongil News.

That day 50 religionist organizations formed the Taejon Action against THAAD Deployment.

The organizations in an inaugural declaration said they will prevent THAAD from being deployed in any place of south Korea to ensure peace on the Korean peninsula.

The declaration noted that THAAD deployment is a reckless and dangerous decision sacrificing the people for the military interests of the U.S.
