S. Korean Religionists Demand Authorities Make Apology for Killing of Peasant
Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- Religious organizations of south Korea demanded the puppet authorities make an apology for causing the death of peasant Paek Nam Gi, according to the south Korean CBS on September 26.

The Council of Christian Churches in a statement said killing of peasant Paek Nam Gi is the extension of arrogance and self-righteousness of the present "government" regarding the people as enemy.

10 religious organizations including the Missionary Solidarity Council of Christian Society held a press conference outside the venue of funeral for Paek Nam Gi.

They accused the "government" of failing to make an apology until Paek Nam Gi died since he was hit by water cannon.

If the "government" does not admit its wrongdoing, justice will punish it, they said, urging the "government" to make an apology before the body of Paek Nam Gi.
