Korean Photo, Book and Fine Arts Exhibition Opens in Mongolia
Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- A Korean photo, book and fine arts exhibition opened with due ceremony in Ulan Bator on September 27 to mark the 60th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's historic visit to Mongolia, the 71st founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 68th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

On display in the venue of the exhibition were photos showing exploits of the President, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

There were also their works, publications introducing the DPRK and fine arts associated with talents of the Korean people.

Present at the opening ceremony were personages of the State Great Hural, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party, the Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development, parliament, ministries of government, political parties and organizations and other people.

A department director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said he was pleased over the Korean photo, book and fine arts exhibition which is held on the significant occasions.

President Kim Il Sung's visit to Mongolia 60 years ago was the historic event which opened a new era of relations between the two countries, he said, adding:

I hope that the friendly relations between Mongolia and the DPRK will grow stronger.

The exhibition will help the Mongolian people know more about the DPRK.
