Federation of Banking Workers Unions of S. Korea Launches General Strike

| Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) -- The Federation of Banking Workers Unions of south Korea launched a general strike in protest against the Park Geun Hye group's policy against workers including the system of paying salaries according to piece rate, according to the south Korean KBS. A rally for the general strike with the attendance of at lest 50,000 workers took place in Seoul on September 23. Chairman of the federation Kim Mun Ho said introduction of the above-said system would break commonness of the bank field and damage would go to consumers. The participants in the rally expressed resolute protest against the introduction of the system, saying that the authorities are enforcing evil labor policy despite the strong opposition of the workers. |
