Letter to Kim Jong Un from Participants in Int'l Film Festival
Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Supreme leader Kim Jong Un received a letter from the participants in the 15th Pyongyang International Film Festival on Friday.

The letter said the film festival held in Pyongyang made a big contribution to strengthening the friendly ties among movie-persons of different countries desirous of a new just and peaceful world and marked a significant occasion in powerfully spurring the development of national films in many countries.

Brief as their stay in Pyongyang was, they witnessed for ourselves the eye-opening realities in the DPRK in which epoch-making leaping advances have been made to startle the world under the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea and keenly realized what inexhaustible strength the Korean people single-mindedly united around Marshal Kim Jong Un have, the letter said.

It expressed the firm belief that the heroic struggle of the Korean people to build a socialist power in which people's dreams and ideals are coming true would surely emerge victorious thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They will make contributions to achieving social progress and changes common to mankind against all sorts of subjugation and inequality by dint of great might of movie-art and produce good films reflecting the ideal of independence, peace and friendship in the future, too, and thus take an active part in the Pyongyang International Film Festival, it added.
