Rodong Sinmun on DPRK's Nuclear Deterrence
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- The DPRK's nuclear deterrence of justice serves as a tremendous force for averting a war and protecting peace, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an article.

History proves that peace cannot be achieved by chanting anti-war slogans or building up public opinion critical of it, the article notes, and goes on:

It is because some international bodies are now being used as tools for justifying the imperialists' war policy.

The DPRK has taken a series of important measures to bolster up its nuclear force as it has keenly realized truth that it is necessary to radically bolster up the nuclear deterrence while countering the U.S. harsh hostile policy and nuclear war moves against it with the toughest counteractions.

The DPRK carried out the nuclear warhead explosion test, the highest level of the work for putting the technology of mounting nuclear warheads on ballistic rockets, because the U.S. and south Korean puppet authorities' moves to stifle the DPRK have reached their height.

The nuclear warhead explosion test is part of the practical countermeasures against the U.S. and other hostile forces' threat and sanctions.

Now the U.S. and its followers talk rubbish that they would tighten sanctions against the DPRK over its self-defensive nuclear warhead explosion test. However, it is nothing but foolish sophism of those frightened by the nuclear power of the DPRK.

The enemies are now going reckless in their moves to stifle by force of arms the DPRK which fully demonstrated once again its strategic position as a full-fledged nuclear weapons state through the nuclear warhead explosion test. It is as foolish an act as jumping into fire with faggot on their backs.

Neither sanctions nor provocations nor threats can bring down the DPRK's position as a nuclear weapons state.

Only merciless nuclear strikes are awaiting the war maniacs resorting to reckless political and military provocations.
