Invited at the reception were figures of the Communist Party of Cuba, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Investment, the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification and the Organization of Solidarity of the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Present there were the DPRK ambassador to Cuba and members of his embassy.

Prior to the reception, the participants watched the Korean film "The party and government delegation of the Republic of Cuba led by Comrade Fidel Castro Ruz visits our country".

The vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba said that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries provided and developed by the great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il together with Comrades Fidel Castro Ruz and Raul Castro Ruz are the eternally invincible relations.

He said that these relations are growing stronger day by day under the special care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and Comrade Raul Castro Ruz. He noted Cuba would boost the genuine friendly and cooperative relations with the DPRK no matter how the situation may change.
