Its North Phyongan Provincial Power Distribution Station established a power supply system based on the combination of wind and solar electric power systems.

The technicians settled sci-tech problems for the system and developed direct-current converter, UPS and transformers by their own efforts.

This power supply system was introduced to the newly-built Baby Home and Orphanage in the city of Sinuiju.
