Radish Pickled with Rice-bran
Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- Radish pickled with rice-bran is getting popular among the people in the DPRK.

In this regard, Choe Chun Ran, a cook of Chongryu Restaurant No.2 under the Taedonggang District Restaurants Management Office in Pyongyang, told KCNA:

Radish pickled with rice-bran is peculiar in taste and highly nutritive.

It takes 30-40 days to have pickled radish ripened. And it is rich in phosphor, iron and other inorganic substances and vitamins like B1.

It produces a good effect on preventing constipation and hypertension and is considered to be efficacious for diabetes.
