Remains of More War Martyrs Buried
Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- Remains of martyrs Yu Ki Hang, Pae Pyong Uk and Kim Chun Gil were buried at the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery ahead of the war victory day.

DPRK Hero Yu shot to death over 150 troops of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces through the snipers team campaign in various battles including the one to defend the line of Mundung-ri, Kangwon Province true to the order of President Kim Il Sung during the war.

He upheld the great leaders' ideology and leadership with arms by serving in the army all his life. He worked as head of a department and a lecturer at the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum.

Pae made sure that his company killed or wounded at least 1,170 enemy troops and destroyed or captured over 30 enemy tanks and vehicles in over 30 battles such as the one for liberating Songchon and advanced into Pyongyang before any other units and hoisted flags of the DPRK on top of buildings during the battle for its liberation.

Kim bravely fought in the battles for crossing the Kum River and the Raktong River and ensured the wartime railway transport by defusing more than 20 time bombs and over 2,700 butterfly bombs.

The remains of martyrs Ham Song Phil, Yu Ki Hang, Kim Chun Gil, Pak Song Hwan, Pak Si Ryul, Jong Tong Chang, Ri Sok Gu, Kim Yong Bae, Jon Ki Chol, Kim Pyong Gwon, Ko To Sik, Ri O Jung, Kim Sung Ho, Kim Chang Bok, Kim Yong Chan and their wives were also buried there.
