S. Korean Newspaper Discloses Purpose and Injustice of Decision for THAAD Deployment

Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) -- Kyunghyang Daily News of south Korea in an editorial on July 13 said that the neighboring countries' backlash against the THAAD deployment is growing as the days go by after the disclosure of the fact that it is not all-powerful but very limited to defense.

Another editorial of the news next day noted it is hardly understandable for the Defense Ministry to stake fate on the deployment of THAAD despite backlash such as protest from neighboring countries.

This only throws suspicion that the U.S. is mulling using the Korean peninsula as its outpost by getting it involved in the MD system through the deployment of THAAD, it held.
