Kim Il Sung Remembered in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings took place in Russia, UK, Serbia and Iceland on July 3 and 4 on the 22nd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Present at the meetings were personages and other people of different social standings of those countries.

The chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia said that 22 years since Kim Il Sung passed away proved the validity of his idea and line. She praised the greatness of the President as outstanding statesman, military strategist and invincible and iron-willed commander.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain said that Kim Il Sung was the peerless great man who opened up and glorified modern history upholding the banner of independence. Kim Il Sung who victoriously led the Korean revolution after smashing the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the imperialists was the great man of outstanding leadership in the independent era, he added.

The chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy said that the revolutionary career of Kim Il Sung was the life of the veteran and most tested statesman, indomitable revolutionary and the great man.

The international secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia and the general secretary of the Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society said the great feats Kim Il Sung performed for the era and mankind will shine long along with the independent era.

A message to supreme leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event held in UK.
