According to the press release, the Chinese regional preparatory committee for the joint conference of the political parties, organizations and individuals from the north and the south and abroad for the peace and independent reunification of the Korean peninsula was formed in Shenyang, China on July 6.

The regional preparatory committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States was also inaugurated in Moscow on the same day.

Besides, the work for forming preparatory committees is being conducted briskly in different areas of the world, instilling great conviction and optimism into all Koreans in the north and the south and abroad hoping for a successful holding of the great national conference.
