Preparatory Committee for 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu Formed in Russia

| Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu was inaugurated by the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia on June 9. Viktor Yegorov, chairman of the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events praising the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and take measures for supporting the cause of the Korean people. |
