Russian Body Introduces Birthday of KCU

| Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The Rostov Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism of Russia posted an article titled "Congratulations on June 6" on its website on June 6 illustrated with a photo of Marshal Kim Jong Un finding himself among members of the Korean Children's Union (KCU). The article said: Kim Jong Un, leader of the DPRK, loves the children most. His passionate love for the rising generation has deeply impressed the international community. In June 2012, the 66th founding anniversary of the KCU was celebrated with splendor in Pyongyang. Kim Jong Un attended the celebration. He, wearing a KCU red necktie, made a congratulatory speech. He spared a precious time for the children and had a photo session with them. World media said: Audience has seen on not a few occasions Koreans extending hearty congratulations to their leader in warm tears but it is really shocking to watch even children breaking into such warm cheers. It is only the DPRK in the world that grandly celebrates children's holiday as a jubilee of the nation. Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, is filled with joy this year which marks the 70th founding anniversary of the KCU. |
