Lao Women's Union Delegation Visits Mangyongdae

Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Lao Women's Union headed by Inlavanh Keobounphanh, president of its Central Committee who is a member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, toured Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung.

The guests laid bouquets before the old home of the President in reverence for him.

Being briefed on the revolutionary history of the President, they looked round the historical relics preserved at his old home.

At the end of the visit the head of the delegation said she was deeply impressed to visit the old home and that this is a holy place of the sun dear to all progressive people of the world as it is the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people.

The delegation also visited the Breast Tumour Institute of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, Okryu Children's Hospital, Pyongyang Catfish Farm, etc.
