Commander of U.S. Forces Discloses U.S. Invariable Hostile Policy toward DPRK
Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- The new commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea made a tour of Panmunjom on May 12 during which he cried out for keeping a strong command posture on the basis of the more solid "south Korea-U.S. alliance" to suit the frequently and rapidly changing situation on the Korean peninsula, KBS of south Korea reported.

He chose Panmunjom as the first place for his public appearance since his assumption of the post, an indication of his scenario to deter "the north's provocation" by dint of the "south Korea-U.S. alliance", it added.

The war drumbeat made by him touring even the militarily most sensitive joint security area in Panmunjom as part of the plan to stifle the DPRK by force of arms brought to light his belligerent nature and the U.S. invariable hostile policy toward the DPRK.

It was reported that Clapper, director of the U.S. State Intelligence Agency, flew into south Korea on May 4 to negotiate a joint proposal for coping with the "provocation" of the north.
