Measuring Instruments for Environment Protection Developed in DPRK
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- The Environmental Science and Technology Institute under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection in the DPRK has recently developed 40-odd instruments of four kinds for scientific observation of environmental conditions.

According to Ri Song Il, a section chief of the Institute, the newly-developed instruments are latest ones which guarantees the scientific accuracy in monitoring and observing water and air conditions.

In particular, floating dust meter is of great significance in putting the real-time monitoring system for aerial environment on a higher scientific basis.

Among those instruments are air sampler and colorimeter for environmental analysis which are helpful to correctly measuring the density of dust and gas and the degree of waste water from industrial establishments.
