Swiss Bodies Welcome Kim Jong Un's Election as Chairman of WPK

Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- The Swiss preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea released a joint statement on May 10 to congratulate supreme leader Kim Jong Un on his election as chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

The statement said Kim Jong Un was elected chairman of the WPK at the its Seventh Congress.

It went on: His election is a historic event which is of great significance.

This also shows the boundless trust and respect of all the Korean party members, service personnel and people for him.

The Korean people have waged a dynamic struggle to implement the instructions of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il under Kim Jong Un's Songun leadership.

And they succeeded in H-bomb test, thus further bolstering the invincible military capabilities as a nuclear weapons state.

Now that they hold Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the chairman of the WPK, they are sure to achieve the cause of national reunification.
