Progress Made in Cultivation of New Fodder Crop
Pyongyang, April 29 (KCNA) -- Agricultural units in different parts of the DPRK have made big strides in the cultivation of fodder crop "Aegukphul".

Pyongyang City completed a method of root-propagating this grass at greenhouse to produce its seedlings by itself.

Kangwon Province established an "Aegukphul" seedling production system based on tissue culture and South Phyongan, South Hwanghae, South Hamgyong and other provinces stepped up the production of its seedlings.

Meanwhile, model cultivation units were selected in different parts of the country.

"Aegukphul", named by supreme leader Kim Jong Un, is a high-yielding and nutritious crop for domestic animals.
