Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- Korean photo and book exhibitions took place at various units of Nigeria from April 11 to 14 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. They included the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory, the Franoson Mannyon International Company LTD., a housing construction company and the Road Management Bureau of the Ministry of Rural Development in Zamfara State.

Displayed at the venues of the exhibitions were photos dealing with the exploits of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were their works, and books and photos introducing the struggle of the army and people of the DPRK.

A department vice-director of the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory praised Kim Il Sung for liberating Korea from the Japanese imperialists' military occupation and turning the DPRK into a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

Kim Il Sung inflicted disgraceful defeat on the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world and won a great victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, he stressed.
