Japanese Organizations Denounce U.S.-South Korea War Exercises against DPRK

Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- Japanese organizations on March 18 and 30 issued statements lashing out at the anti-DPRK war games of the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet regime.

The Nagano Prefectural People's Council for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea denounced the U.S. for persistently sidestepping the DPRK's just proposal for concluding a peace treaty and escalating the tension on the Korean peninsula through madcap saber-rattling in league with the south Korean puppet forces.

The statement branded the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK as outdated and anachronistic one.

It demanded the U.S. stop all acts of escalating tension in Northeast Asia.

The Gunma Prefectural People's Council for Japan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity urged the U.S. to immediately discontinue the joint military exercises with south Korea and conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK.
