More than 1,000 hectares of orchard were created with millions of high-yielding fruit trees of 10-odd species across the country in recent 40 days.

Pukchong County additionally planted 270 hectares of orchard with hundreds of thousands of dwarf apple trees and Sariwon and Pyongyang fruit farms 90 and 70 hectares of orchards respectively.

The Sukchon Youth Fruit Farm, too, created many hectares of orchard with 40,000 high-yielding fruit trees such as apple, pear, peach and plum.
