Might of Ideological Campaign in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- The people in the DPRK are now conducting the 70-day campaign to significantly greet the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

It reminds one of the days when another 70-day campaign was launched in Juche 63 (1974) under the guidance of leader Kim Jong Il. This campaign made a breakthrough in smoothly carrying out the Six-Year Plan of the national economy before the 30th anniversary of the WPK (October 10, 1975).

In fact, it was results of an ideological campaign initiated by Kim Jong Il to arouse all the people to working great feats.

Under his guidance, at least 10,000 officials were dispatched to thousands of major production units and 50-odd art troupes to worksites throughout the country to give full play to the working people's spiritual strength. Meanwhile, media widely introduced news about achievements in production and construction.

Such ideological campaign resulted in the rise of production 1.7 times higher, bringing about radical change in the people's ideological and moral life.
