Day of Sun to Be Marked in Belarus

| Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- A Belarusian joint organizing committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was formed on March 14 under the sponsorship of the Belarus National Association of Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. L. Shukolinikov, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Workers' Party of Belarus and chairman of the Standing Presidium of the above-said association, was elected chairman of the organizing committee. The committee decided to send a message of greeting to Marshal Kim Jong Un, give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and exploits of the President and organize colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
