Major Construction Projects Progress Apace in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- The units under the Capital City Construction Commission are speeding up ten-odd major construction projects to finish them before the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (slated for May). The projects include the remodeling of Kim Il Sung Stadium, the second-phase remodeling of the Central Zoo, expanding the capacity of the Central Nursery under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection and the construction of a notebook factory. Frame assembling was finished at all projects in a little over 15 days from the start of the 70-day campaign and the exterior and interior construction works are now going on at the final stage, according to an official concerned. Meanwhile, related industrial establishments have carried out their daily production assignments at 120 percent to supply in time building materials to the projects. |
