Japanese Authorities Accused of Evading Responsibility for Sexual Slavery
Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- Students of Korean University of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan and the Union of Korean Students in Japan held a meeting in front of the building of the Japanese foreign ministry Tuesday at which they denounced the authorities for evading the responsibility for the past crimes related to sexual slavery.

At the meeting speakers said that Korean students in Japan turned out in the solidarity struggle on the lapse of 97 years since the March First Popular Uprising, timed to coincide with the "day of all-out actions" across south Korea for nullifying the "agreement" on the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

The Japanese government made the unilateral "agreement" with south Korea in utter disregard of the victims of the sexual slavery, an insult to all Koreans, they noted.

They called on students to play a vanguard role in the struggle to protest against the Japanese authorities' unreasonable discrimination against Korean schools, defend national rights and have the sexual slavery issue settled.
