The title of Labor Hero went to Kim Myong Ho, work-team head of the Cement Workshop, and Rim Pong Un, work-team head of the Calcinating Workshop, and Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize to Jo Son Guk, tunneling worker of Pit No. 1 of the Samchong Mine, Pak Song Hyok, tunneling worker of Jeryong Pit of the Hwachon Coal Mine, and Pak Hyon Hui, controller of Ore Crushing Workshop No. 1 of the Sangwon Limestone Mine.

The title of Merited Technician went to one person, the title of Merited Miner to one person, the title of Merited Coal Miner to two persons, Order of National Flag First Class to 16 persons, Order of Labor to 21 persons, Order of National Flag Second Class to 296 persons, Order of National Flag Third Class to 451 persons and Medal of Merit to 501 persons.
