S. Korean Organizations Launch Signature Campaign against "Bill on Preventing Terrorism"

| Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- 46 progressive and civic organizations of south Korea including the Citizens Solidarity for Democratic Society launched a signature campaign against the "bill on preventing terrorism", according to the south Korean CBS. The organizations have conducted the signature campaign in protest against the "bill on preventing terrorism" from Feb. 22. The speaker of the puppet "National Assembly" brought up for discussion the "bill on preventing terrorism" at the full-dress session of the NA by abusing his power. Since then, the number of the participants in the campaign has been on rapid increase. The organizations held a press conference in Seoul on Feb. 25. There are various laws and mechanisms geared for getting provided for "terrorism" in south Korea, they said, urging the regime to stop the moves to fabricate a new evil law. They went to the NA to thrust a letter of protest signed by nearly 300,000 people from all walks of life to the NA speaker. |
