Among the audience were DPRK Minister of Public Health Kang Ha Guk who doubles as chairman of the Central Committee of the DPRK-China Friendship Association, officials concerned and Pyongyangites.

Ambassador Li Jinjun and staff members of the Chinese embassy here, diplomatic envoys and representatives of international bodies here, Chinese guests staying in the DPRK and Chinese residents in the DPRK watched the concert.

Speeches were made before the concert.

Artistes of the Jilin Provincial Symphony Orchestra of China staged diverse numbers such as folk orchestra "Lunar new year's day overture", instrumental trio "Moon over the riverside with flowers in spring" and female solo "Beautiful country with proud sons and daughters".

They successfully represented the patriotic will, national emotion and feelings of the Chinese people through classical melodies, rich voices, peculiar timbre and refined ensemble.

They put on the stage folk orchestras immortal classics "Nostalgia" and "Where Are You, Dear General?" and other music pieces reflecting reverence for President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Their repertoire also included world famous music pieces.
