Humiliating "Agreement" Rejected in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 23 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea held a news conference in Seoul on Feb. 19 rejecting the humiliating "agreement," insult to the victims of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

The organization held that the "agreement" on the issue of sexual slavery reached between south Korea and Japan at the end of last year paid no heed to the demands of the victims though they should be reflected in it as the most important matters.

This being a hard fact, Japan claimed that the "agreement" was "final and irreversible," a violent statement, the organization charged.

Recalling that a lot of women who had been hurled into battlefields at the time of war are still missing, the organization declared that the south Korean authorities' promise not to criticize Japan in the international community for the issue not properly settled is an insult to the victims.
